Wow Factor Kitchen Design

wow-factor-kitchen-design-1.jpg

Sometimes there's an image that just captures your attention and you are instantly in awe - like this kitchen design displaying major wow factor. A shiny pink backsplash against the clean white linear kitchen. The orchid ties in perfectly and that funky, yet delicate chandelier is quite something. This kitchen shows that modern minimal need not be boring and cold. This design is totally fun (mr. octopus seems to agree) , in an elegant, sort of grown up way. We are really enjoying it. This kitchen and the house it belongs to was designed by Metaform.

Amazing Zen Like Kitchen with Wood Slat Panelling

amazing-zen-like-kitchen-wood-slat-panelling-1.jpg

amazing-zen-like-kitchen-wood-slat-panelling-2.jpg

Ylab did such an amazing job with this kitchen interior. The pine wood slat paneling was assembled by hand and looks so Zen like, giving the kitchen a warm, streamlined feel. We love how it fills one wall and continues onto the ceiling - giving the room such an interesting dimension. And look closely at the two images. Notice how part of the counter top lifts up to reveal the cook top, sink and work space? How fantastic. When closed, the kitchen becomes this sleek room, free of visual clutter - which is so calming somehow. Also contributing to this feeling are the opposing white wall, the elegant floor and the floor to ceiling glass doors for built in storage. It’s just such a stylish, calm, contemporary kitchen.

Kitchen Dining Area Design - modern with a view

soft-modern-kitchen-dining-area-view-1.jpg

We are admiring the soft, modern quality of this kitchen dining area design of a renovated Dublin cottage, which looks upon a wonderful view. This dining area is minimal, calm and extra warm due to the interesting color scheme. Light wood, gray and copper colors come together to create a relaxed, yet stylish ambiance. The green from the outdoors is a great contrast color to the orange-y of the inside. The kitchen area is framed by big folding doors which can be opened for a close connection to the outdoors - so that one may enjoy the view and some almost-al fresco dining as they please. The design is simple and we like the idea of the negative use of hardware in this case. It seems appropriate and clever. The lamps really are key for giving this space its style. Farmhouse Style Kitchen Interior by Minacciolo - English Mood

farmhouse-style-kitchen-interior-minacciolo-english-mood-1.jpg

The English Mood collection at Minacciolo offers the perfect marriage between modern and farmhouse style for kitchen interior design. The styling of this collection communicates that the classic farmhouse look is the foundation of these kitchen designs and they are brought into our modern times by way of materials and color choices. They use contemporary patterns and materials like metal and stainless steel appliances, stylish wall papers as well as achromatic color schemes and blend them with more traditional style cabinetry and layout so that these up-to-date kitchens retain a family oriented farmhouse feel. They are a great example of how to keep past traditional styles current. See more at Minacciolo.
