Kitchen Interior from Saporiti Italia - Sedna_K, far from ordinary ...

saporiti-italia-kitchen-sedna-k.jpg

The extraordinary Sedna_K Italian kitchen concept is strictly for discerning design fans! A very different interpretation of kitchen interiors is presented by this avant-guard arrangement by Saporiti Italia. Each item of furniture within the kitchen is iconic and surprising – from the ‘Gold Monolith’ storage unit to the ‘Working Table’ with its wide, flared legs. Low, inviting chairs with jutting armrests surround the kitchen table. A huge, abstract screen known as the 'Techno Wall' conceals the appliances out of sight for when you’re entertaining. It’s hard to know where to look first – the Sedna_K kitchen even includes a large, eye-catching piece of art as standard. The designers selected the popular Corian material and used it in a unique way… inventively exploiting its transparent capabilities. On the kitchen island, a pattern of circles glows through the Corian - as do friendly messages like ‘Thank you’ - that allow you to really get to know your kitchen’s personality!

Dramatic Kitchen Interior Design by Alessi - Rustic and Ultra Modern combine

alessi-kitchen-interiors-rustic-ultra-modern.jpg

The look of this remarkable kitchen interior would work well in an art studio or loft, with the unexpectedly exciting pairing of rather rustic and ultra-modern! A great example of the hot trend of mixing the very new with the very old, we see a bright and shiny, totally up-to-date Alessi kitchen against pale, mottled, unfinished walls. The contrast in age is heightened with the dated brick fireplace in the corner, which also brings a certain coziness to the kitchen. The slightly battered wooden floors that may have seen better days now possess a charm and character that a newer floor wouldn’t develop for many years. High-tech equipment including the television and satellite dish, however, bring us firmly back to the 21st century. A dramatic kitchen interior design for those who respect the past, but relish the now.

Innovative Kitchen Concept by Lago - the 36e8 Kitchen Suites

lago_cucina2.jpg

Have fun creating your kitchen! Lago has released an innovative kitchen concept that draws on creative forms and dimensions to shape your kitchen. These 36e8 kitchen "non-kitchen" suites are incredibly attractive, not only in their stunning colours and sleek surfaces, but also in their versatility: The Lago storage units can be positioned horizontally or vertically and can be combined in a variety of ways to create your perfect kitchen. For example, you can stack the units like building blocks to produce forms such as trees, lobsters, etc! Thanks to extra-clear plate crystal supports, the bases can also be suspended and can extend into the middle of the room, creating the illusion of a floating counter. The design also incorporates the use of the N.O.W (Not Only White) system through the accessories and equipment, as well as through the possibility of internal integration of refrigerators and ovens. The premise of these innovative kitchen suites resides in warmth and practicality, and seeks to remove the over-loaded kitchens of the past.

Finish custom-made fireplace from NunnaUuni: kitchen - fireplace concept

soapstone-fireplace-kitchen-nunnauunu.jpg

Ready for an evening dinner by the fireplace? This NunnaUuni custom made fireplace, inspired by the open fireplaces seen in ski resorts in Central Europe, is so much more than a source of heat and visual beauty – it creates a spectacular centrepiece in this rustic home. The texture of the stone stands out proudly against the warm tones of the wood and tiled floor. What makes this design so special is the placement of the fireplace – right in the middle of the space. This allows for the back end of the fireplace to be utilized for some other means – in this instance, a kitchen. In fact, a ceramic range has been installed at the back of the fireplace, with the chimney hood mimicking the fireplace chimney. This back-to-back setting is not only practical, it is visually appealing in its mirror effect of contemporary versus nostalgic.
These particular pictures are from a villa on the shore of Lake Saimaa in Finland.
