Filo Young is a custom fitted kitchen designed by Marconato & Zappa for Italian manufacturer Comprex. The designers play with the de-structured character of the essential elements, which can be freely combined to suit a young and dynamic lifestyle. The contemporary design, neither dull nor in excess, aims to reach the right balance between style and function. The lines and surfaces are clean and elegant, and a lot of attention is paid to detail, and especially to materials and finishes. In terms of materials, the modules are made mainly in a new high pressure wood particles panel called “materico”. The combination of the “materico” with finishes such as rubber lacquered, metals lacquered or precious lacquered give a very sophisticated visual result. There is also a careful choice of colors, which allow for refined mixes, such as mocha, oak veneer and pomegranate red. The modules come in different heights, with base and suspended elements. The suspended elements are left open, to make the transition between the kitchen and the living room in open plan kitchens. Elegant and harmonious, this collection lets you express yourself freely and obtain a real made-to-your-measure kitchen!
