Classic English Style Children's Bedroom by Minacciolo

classic-english-style-childrens-bedroom-minacciolo-1.jpg

We love how Minacciolo has adapted the sophistication of classic English style to the children’s bedroom - like this blue and white beauty, part of the English Mood collection. Traditional English style is sophisticated and luxurious, while English Country is a little more on the relaxed side making use of brighter colors and aimed at a more casual coziness. This bedroom design makes best use of both. The use of chinoiserie for wallpaper and soft furnishings is deeply rooted in classic style and brings with it a sophisticated elegance. The wood beams, the bright blue and white palette, the paned window closet doors, more typical of country style, relax the room making it more appropriate and inviting to children. But the distinct style of this room is not the only thing that makes it special. The actual design allows for flexible options. The bed is enclosed by storage closets on either side and a sliding drawer underneath the bed - lots of room for storage and a fun sleeping nook is created. The possibility of an additional bed on top or underneath in the sliding compartment gives this bedroom design a very versatile quality. See more at Minacciolo.

Children’s Bedroom Ideas by AltaModa

childrens-bedroom-ideas-altamoda-31.jpg

AltaModa has come up with some really awesome modern concepts for children’s bedroom ideas. ‘Moby’, inspired by Moby Dick, showcases a decor scheme based on the sea and its creatures. It is bright and calming thanks to all that blue and white. Could be appropriate for boys and girls alike. The pink and white ‘Lolita’ room on the other hand, is geared towards girls, with the fun feeling of a ‘boudoir’ with a modern twist. ‘Spirit’ is a collection inspired by British equestrian style. Rich, warm colors make the room elegant and cozy – a happy place for horse lovers. For aviation fanatics, take a look at the ‘Willy’ collection. The room is fresh and modern, the color scheme is cool. The linear pattern of the lampshades and headboard bring in the perfect amount of visual variation. For a classy retro vibe inspired by Britain in the 60s check out the 'Denim' collection. Love those telephone booths. These contemporary children’s bedrooms are so interesting, every detail seems well thought out. Check out more ideas at AltaModa.

Awesome Bunk Beds for Kids: Large Bed for Four

awesome-bunk-bed-kids-large-bunk-bed-for-four-1.jpg

Another idea worth sharing; these awesome bunk beds for kids provides a fun and practical solution for accommodating four sleepy heads. Running the entire length of the wall, this straightforward wooden structure is not only attractive but looks safe and sturdy. We love that each large bunk bed is equipped with its own bedside lamp. This promotes a sense of individuality in a shared space, as do the different colored head boards. The ladder in the middle allows for easy access to either of the top bunks. Fluffy white beds and a huge amount of light keep the space airy and unrestricted. And if you only have two children, but love this idea, consider using some of the space as playroom.
