Fall asleep under the stars every night and wake up to a spectacular view of the sunrise. Know exactly what the weather is like each day without having to turn on the radio or television. This bedroom interior with wall-to-wall glass windows is an outdoor camper’s luxury suite. Sheltered from the elements, and yet, very much a part of it all. A curtain can be drawn to surround the interior when privacy is absolutely necessary – otherwise, who would want to block such a view. The bedroom features an Anarima bed by Roche Bobois that is made of upholstered Elegance leather (available in 100 different colours) with adjustable headrests and a solid beech pedestal. Click here for a short video showcasing the Anarima bed. The coordinated cream colors downplay the stunning elegance of this room and allow nature, in all its glory, to claim the prize as focal point of this design.

A loft bedroom with a modest eastern design, that invites you to walk barefoot along the tile. The simple beauty of this space is found in the use of Italian tiling on floor that is earthy in appearance, complex in texture and impressive in its simplicity. The tile, reminiscent of earth, clay or stone, is set in a pattern of smaller squares that appear to frame the room and frame the bed. The wood beams of the gable create a natural and breathtaking expanse of ceiling and space that is timeless and forever a striking view. The only accessories in the room are three ceramic bowls, which continue the earthy motif set by the tile and wood, and add a bit of autumn colour. This collection, created by Garfloor, is titled “Earth” and is described as “a deep contact with Mother Earth's warm breath”. The tile is available in seven colors, three sizes, and three types of mosaic.

Wouldn’t it be wonderfully convenient if we could literally roll out of bed and into the shower? Hansgrohe has created just that in the Axor Starck ShowerCollection. The design is based on a central square that houses the shower, and surrounding it is an open-concept bedroom with all the amenities conveniently within reach. It offers a two-in-one deal for total relaxation, blending the restfulness features of the bedroom with the stress-relieving qualities of the bathroom – all in one room. The stream of water from the shower is the focus in this space, and creates the illusion of having your own waterfall in your bedroom. This focus is not interrupted by the shower walls, which are clear glass to allow visual access to the rest of the room. Pure white walls and flooring are contrasted by the dark wood of the open closet that grounds you to reality when the time comes.

An amazing bedroom with a view of the surrounding forest. Wake up with the birds singing and actually see them singing... If it's a sanctuary you're seeking without the seclusion, this open-concept bedroom is for you. It's loft living without the city landscape, which is so rare of an experience. The exposed beams and hardwood flooring remain true to the surroundings and create an almost tree-house appeal. The generous wall-length window allows no separation between the indoor and outdoor, letting nature to be the mural and focal point. No additional artwork is required, nor could any compare. Nevertheless, a modern and vibrant colour scheme and distinctive shapes have been chosen for furniture and accessories to offset the natural backdrop.

Watching the sunset has a whole new meaning when you can do so in the comfort of your own bed. This bedroom design boasts large double patio doors to allow the outside in. The calm green walls and the understated interior help to rejuvenate the spirit while acknowledging the view as the focal point. This effect is achieved through the simplicity of the bedding and window treatments, while the darker patio wood and railing draw the eye outward. Recess lighting provides the perfect amount of soft glow, allowing the outdoors to dictate the level of illumination for the room. However, the patio doors can be shut and the blinds drawn to provide the necessary privacy that is often required in a bedroom. If bedroom décor is meant to reflect the occupant’s definition of comfort, this one says serenity.

We’ve seen bathroom made entirely of wood; now here is a contemporary bedroom version. The imperfect horizontal grain of the wood creates the illusions of a larger space, despite the darker colour of the wood. To keep this space from being oppressive, the white bedding lightens the room and the frosted glass provides the appearance of a window. The hard lines of the wood, bookshelves and books are contrasted against the soft qualities of the comforter and lava lamp accessory, allowing comfort to penetrate the intensity of the room. An interesting feature in this space is the headboard, which is untraditionally concave. The result of this design is an unbelievably smooth finish that is underplayed, but undeniably stylish.
