Intriguing Home Inspired by Brickwork

This intriguing home designed by Italian / Japanese architecture firm AE5 partners embraces the local culture while carrying a contemporary flair that caught our eye. From the outside and in, an unusual facade inspired by brickwork, minus the bricks, gives this Japanese house design privacy without obstructing the massive windows that soak interior with natural light. Inside, echoing that facade motif, a cool loft design idea features that same unusual pattern and makes a great little reading and relaxing nook overlooking the main living area below.
