A fireplace feature can make a great room divider, and this example shows us that. The imposing marble structure sits in the room creating not only a separation between spaces but an extremely awesome focal point. It’s massive and strong with room to store logs. This is great because the wood and marble provide a visual contrast that is quite striking. When the flames are going, it’s pure bliss - and it can be enjoyed from many perspectives. Therefore, in a way, this divider fireplace also unifies the surrounding spaces while dividing them at the same time. It’s just such a great idea for open plan living.
