The owner of this renovated bungalow has some unusual DIY ideas we must share with you. It seems like the walls and ceilings are original to the house, probably just restored and revamped. The floors seem new - we love the awesome slate tile, they feel earthy and modern. The custom shelving is a wonderful idea that is probably simple enough to execute. The bench and table area is inviting and that chandelier provides a charming contrast to this rustic space. But the hanging full sized bed swing is the best part. Oh, how nice it must be to kick back with a book or favorite magazine and spend a lazy afternoon ‘hanging out’ on the porch, so close to the outdoors.
