Netherlands architects Boetzkes Helder designed this modern aluminum home with surprises at every turn. The extraordinary facade features textured aluminum panels that change color depending on how the sun hits them. But the sun also plays an important role to interiors, which again, depending on the time of day and the sun’s position in the sky, feature a dramatic interplay of light and shadow. Another example of innovative Netherlands architecture! The exterior of the home is a simple rectangular form which alludes to the layout of the minimalist interiors – an open concept home design with an upper-left hallway overlooking the main – a loft design idea that is as simple yet visually impactful as the house itself.
