Cabin on Wheels – Rolling Huts, in memory of the RV park ;-)

It may seem a cabin on wheels like any other, but wait until you see just how Olson Sundberg Kundig Allen Architects have designed it. Sitting lightly on the flood plain meadow, formerly a RV campground, each cabin is raised above the ground level to give the inhabitants a better view of the surrounding landscape. The entire structure of the cabin stands on a wood platform. One of the sides is made entirely of glass. It is actually a door which allows a direct view of the outside space. Every material used to construct the cabin is natural. This keeps it environment friendly and allows having low maintenance costs. The best part though is that the cabin has an extended roof covering a large amount of space on all sides around it. The actual use of space is largely increased and the inside is protected against bad weather. The Rolling Huts by Olson Sundberg Kundig Allen Architects seem to be the perfect choice for those who wish to live close to nature.
