Ogrydziak Prillinger Architecture of Concrete, Brick and Glass

Ogrydziak Prillinger architecture is interesting, livable and inspiring while staying firmly planted in its roots. You’ll see what we mean when you check out this innovative California house, a modern architectural design that stands apart from its neighbors but echoes local traditions. The cast concrete and exposed brick exterior home boasts a strong, structured, almost industrial feel. But the architects didn’t forego the essential indoor-outdoor element that would make the most of this sunny climate. Outdoor entertaining areas blend with the indoors through floor-to-ceiling sliding-glass doors overlooking the lovely landscaped grounds and the pool area. Exposed-brick pillars and arched concrete ceilings add interest to the design, complemented by circular skylights that cast columns of light into the rooms. In spite of its cool materials and architecture, this concrete house has the warmth and character of “home.” Ogrydziak/Prillinger Architects
