We usually profile homes, but who wouldn’t want to live in a luxury hotel with architecture like this! Low profile and low key, but not without its lavish touches, the new Fasano Hotel designed by Isay Weinfeld offers a new take on minimalist living, to the max! Located in Punta del Este, Uruguay, this natural house design encompasses 20 bungalows and 12 suites done in an earthy palette of exposed granite and reclaimed ceiling beams in the main lobby, wood paneling and leather details that add a touch of “refined” to the raw. Strong horizontal lines appear in the rooflines and exterior paneling, further highlighted by long stretched of rectangular windows set deep into the walls. An interior courtyard adds a little life to the simple interiors. This resort-style getaway has it all – a beach and boathouse, equestrian center, polo grounds, spa, serenity and views to die for!
