Laser Cut Metal Furniture Estrella by Fernando and Humberto Campana for A Lot Of Brasil

Designers Fernando and Humberto Campana created the “Estrella” line for A Lot of Brasil. Estrella, of course, means “Star” in Spanish and in this case – the reference is to Starfish, or Sea Stars. The thin laser-cut metal pieces are welded together to form a light presence – the circles representing colonies of stars. The open design, the thin metal, the careful composition – all created to echo the echinoderm. The brothers envisioned a colony of sea stars and transformed that vision into a range of furniture. Stools, tables, sofas and chairs are available in a range of solid colors. And each piece has its own sensibility, thanks to the different sizes, shapes, colors and welding patterns of the “star” pieces. Stylized and durable, they will compliment any modern décor. Unveiled in Milan in 2015, they’re sure to be a hit for the summer and beyond. Can’t you just see that orange sofa in a solarium with a nice big green fern behind it?
