This two story project, the EM apartment by aastudio, is very a playful and ultra modern design. A completely white backdrop was created so that vibrant colors may playfully stand out, keeping the space from being too sterile. Color is introduced via furnishings and a very creative lighting scheme. The RGB lighting system allows for color changes to achieve any desired atmosphere at any time. The reflective qualities of all that white and the use of mirrors create a greater feeling of space in the apartment. Also noteworthy is the custom stair case which adds visual interest and is multifunctional. This apartment is highly unique and customized for the inhabitant. The designers used creative solutions that result in a high impact space.
