Based in Stockholm, Sweden, the architects at Kjellander + Sjoberg Arkitektkontor, Sandellsandberg Arkitekter and Tham & Videgard Hansson Arkitekter have designed 15 cool, compact cabins for summer fun. Literally translating to “summer enjoyment,” the series of 15m2 homes in Sommarnojen are prefabricated for easy installation, and despite their name, some are equipped for year-round use as well. Ideal as a relaxing retreat, or as a guest addition to an existing larger house, these compact but sweet designs can also double as workshops, studios and in true Scandinavian tradition, as saunas. And in keeping with common practice, these cabins are simple, yet boast all the necessary comforts to keep you from April through September!
