Sao Paulo Contemporary Architecture – Modern Indoor-Outdoor Living Loft

This Sao Paulo contemporary architecture isn’t limited by traditional walls and boundaries. The Brazil architecture firm of Fernanda Marques makes the most of what is a relatively compact home design, measuring 2,700 sq. ft., by taking it outside, so to speak. This modern loft features “outdoor” elements inside, like stone, steel, glass and wood paneling, and eliminates the typical interior walls and dividers in what becomes an open, airy outdoor living house plan – extending living space well beyond the home’s mere square footage. The loft has a contemporary yet earthy aesthetic, true to the architect’s style, while meshing seamlessly with the whole “al fresco” theme of the space.
