House with a Spiral Turquoise Staircase

This modern geometric house by Peru architecture firm Riofrio+Rodrigo Architects boasts an interesting silhouette carved into its blocky facade. In fact, some architecture lovers might call this cross-shaped home a religious experience! Though simple, this contemporary style house sure is sweet. A large square window at the center of this crisp, white facade gives it a distinctive focal point while offering a sneak peek at what’s inside – a spiral staircase stands out among the modern, minimalist interiors, its vibrant turquoise steps leading up to a fabulous upper-level outdoor entertaining area where most of the living is done. A rolling garage-style door lets you open this space for alfresco living, or close it up for privacy. Riofrio+Rodrigo Architects
