Ultra-Modern Exhibition Information Center in Shanghai

It’s a long way from Paris to China, and French firm Odile Decq Benoit Cornette has taken design beyond even imagination, with its futuristic interpretation of the Exhibition Information Center in Shanghai’s bustling center. This ultra-contemporary, pyramid-like structure unfolds with its large panes of black glass, red “wings” and top protrusions, loosely resembling a bird taking flight. When night falls, the black glass comes aglow, revealing an illuminated interior in the dark night air. Odile Decq Benoit Cornette
