Floating Spa by Architect Max Wehberg in Wolfsburg, Germany
When the Germans think “health spa” they think “Wehberg” – at least, they do when they’re from the city of Wolfsburg. With his contemporary floating spa design, architect Max Wehberg has revolutionized the way the locals (and anyone lucky enough to visit) pamper. The rolling waves gently rock this 8,600-sq.-ft. structure from beneath, while the water-top location also affords guests the luxury of rare vistas seen from the heated outdoor swimming pool, terrace, solarium, amenity rooms and massage cabins.
