This awesome youth facility in Hamburg, Germany, was a joint effort by the forward-thinking architects at J. Mayer H., in cooperation with Sebastian Finckh. Unique about the contemporary Home.Haus design is the dual-color combination which plays itself out on the structure’s remarkable relief facade. Home to a dozen girls with a combination of single-occupancy and shared rooms, Home.Haus also features a shared sports area and a music room. Inside, the piece de resistance of the modern design is a grand staircase, which cuts through each floor and opens up the otherwise individual living areas. J. Mayer H.
