You won’t believe your eyes of how extremely unique this modern interior design is. Houssein Jarouche, an art and design enthusiast, hired Triptyque, the Brazilian architecture studio to redo his space. Jarouche wanted his apartment to have a gallery feel, he wanted it to appear random and unexpected yet feel unified. Quite the task, and Triptyque succeeded. They emptied the space first in order to feel its true essence. They designed this unique monumental bookcase structure in the center of the space. Within it is the entry hall - that’s where you come into the apartment. It functions as a display piece and a unifying item. Every room is connected to it; it is the constant in this untamed space, while providing a place for the owner to display all his collections. The fundamentals of the interior are quite neutral, modern and edgy - distressed wood, concrete, stainless steel and lots of white all within an unconventional plan. It is the decor choices that really add a colorful passion and an element of fun to this home. The owner states that his decor and furniture items are there because they fulfill one simple criteria - he loves them. He doesn’t think about matching and style harmony, he just lets it happen. And it happens very well. This is a great example of how design and decor can be done well following nothing but intuition and emotion.
