Fashion designer, Azzedine Alaia, converted a 300 sqm space into three apartments that can be rented by those visiting Paris. The room designs are incredible and show what kind of impact furniture can have. The interiors are minimal, clean and bare - but the furniture choices are what make these rooms absolutely striking. Clearly, one does not need an architecturally intricate interior to achieve high drama and style. All you need is some designer furniture - like pieces by Arne Jacobsen, Marc Newson, Jean Prouve and Charlotte Perriand - featured here. But just because it's designer, doesn't mean it will work. The choices made for these rooms consider scale, color, texture, shape and form - all very important for generating the right mood. These spaces are modern, hip, welcoming and fun. The perfect place for a sejour in Paris, wouldn't you agree?
