This prefab cottage home designed by architect Charlie Lazor is modern yet modern - the perfect mix for a sweet retreat! This northern Wisconsin lake house enjoys a stunning Lake Superior location, but this serene spot actually posed a problem - all the materials needed to be ferried across the lake. Going prefab eased the construction process. The vacation house boasts a simple design with a minimalist black and white exterior of wood and metal, and lots of glass to let in the natural light and views.
