Architect and Interior Designer Build Their Fantasy Home in Tropical Paradise

An architect and interior designer have made their fantasy a reality in this tropical home paradise. The couple, architect/builder Jesse Bennett, and interior designer Anne-Marie Campagnolo, have recently completed their Planchonella House in Queensland, Australia. They’ve created a resort-like paradise home and yard for themselves, full of interesting architectural and interior details. The bookcase is actually a door that opens into a bedroom. And isn’t the bedroom decor tropical? There is a beautiful little nook for breakfast in the morning. And in an interesting twist, the bathtub and bathroom walls have matching surfaces. Most of the furniture is built with light metal frames to keep the airy and open theme running through the home. And rightly so – all of this wonderful design is set in the middle of a lush tropical forest. It’s the stuff of dreams!
