Recycled Modern Outdoor Furniture by Loll Design

The eco-conscious folks at Loll Design are putting empty plastic containers to good use: the HDPE (high-density polyethylene) is repurposed to produce their line of recycled modern outdoor furniture. Featuring clean lines and stylish simplicity: this durable seating fits nicely into a variety of outdoor settings. The Picket Double (shown) is available in four colors: black, apple, white and chocolate.

In addition to using 100% post consumer HDPE, Loll Design is a staunch advocate of green business practices. As a member of 1% for the Planet, the company donates 1% of their gross sales to environmental organizations. Products are shipped with a bare minimum of packaging; the material that is used is both recycled and recyclable. Beginning on Earth Day 2008, the company has also implemented a tree-planting program. One locally grown, white spruce seedling is planted for each order received in the previous year.

Made in the USA, Loll Design’s recycled outdoor furniture contributes toward LEED credits in the category of post-consumer recycled material (MR 4.1 and 4.2) and if a project is in regional proximity to the manufacturing facility, further credits may apply (MR 5.1).
