2008 GreenSummit – Sustainablilty in the Southwest
On September 5th and 6th, Arizona will host the 2008 GreenSummit at the Phoenix Convention Center. The summit offers businesses, government and consumers the opportunity to discover the latest and greatest in the field of sustainability. Exhibit categories cover a diverse selection of green topics ranging from building and design to fashion and beauty to transportation.
Free with registration, off-site Eco-Tours allow attendees to explore regional locations that practice green innovations. The Global Water Resource Center, the ASU Biodesign Institute B and the ASU Global Institute of Sustainability are among the locations scheduled for touring. Some of the main events include a Green Innovations Expo that focuses on leading innovative green products and services, the 100+ session Advancing Sustainability Conference and a Green Industry Career Fair.
