This extremely rustic nightstand lamp would make a great DIY project. We spotted it in this cool rustic apartment designed by Chi Torch Interior Design. Its one of the most creative table lamps we’ve seen. Just check out that brick wall. It looks like the plaster is literally peeling off. How loft-like and urban is that? And this is the perfect light for that kind of place.
Rustic, yet kind of industrial. It may not be easy to DIY. You need to get the right pipe fittings at your local plumbing supply store. You need to figure out how to attach the bulb socket to the pipe. The pipe ends are perfectly suited to run wires through. But how do you make the light turn on and off when turning the faucet handle?! And pick an unusual bulb to go with it. Voila – a nightstand lamp fit for a high-end design store.
