Established in 2007, Decode is a London-based design and manufacturing company that creates progressive and contemporary furniture and lighting. Their products aim to challenge convention and deliver fresh perspectives on traditional materials. It has now become a tradition for them to launch their new collections during the London Design Festival. This year, the Decode collection is enriched with new furniture and lights. The Hatcham table by Samuel Wilkinson comes to accompany the chair launched in 2012. Halcyon is the first collaboration between Anthony Dickens and Decode. Produced from hand-blown borosilicate glass Halcyon, meaning tranquil, is a reinterpretation of the archetypal table lamp. The multidisciplinary design studio VW+BS creates two new products for the new collection. One is the Shelltwo bar stool, a minimal, straightforward and lightweight seat to be used indoors and outdoors, and the other is the Dipper pendant light. And last but not least, Decode will launch the original tall version of the award-winning cast concrete Heavy Light, which was shown as a prototype in 2008 but not manufactured ever since. Don’t miss the show!
