Vitra Bathroom Suite Freedom is a new design concept
Free-flowing shapes designed by Ross Lovegrove (above) give rise to the Vitra Freedom bathroom suite, one of the most renowned bathroom suites in the world today. Breaking through the traditional, cold symmetry often found in the bathroom, Freedom offers something organic and comforting to experience. ‘Ethereal, sensual and serene’ describes the overall character of the bathroom. The complex, yet organic, shapes are made possible by the technical skills of Vitra, a team of developers and of course, the imagination of the designer. One major point to note here is the bidet… Lovegrove has modelled this on a basin, rather than a toilet as has been the rule in the past. Each piece takes on a sculptural stance, an interactive and economical distribution of water lies at the heart of Freedom suite. For your renewed admiration, by Vitra at ISH 2009.
