The Argento Vivo kitchen from GeD Cucine is a triumph of shape and material that leaves no stone unturned in the quest for excellence. Minimal, linear aspects of the kitchen units are rounded for a softer edge… the striking island bar flairs at one end to form a wonderful circular eating area. The table itself is acid-etched glass that is illuminated from within – a great place to gather your friends. A gleaming glass surface runs halfway along the length of the island until it encounters the polished surface of the steel work station. The two surfaces are totally flush and the effect is flawless! The cooking area is also high-gloss, yet highly practical, hosting both the gas-burning hobs and the sink. Every detail is considered; the hobs sport thick polished steel pan supports, the tap which remains unobtrusive when not in use; the cooking area can be accessed from either side of the island. This, also with the plenteous storage of the tall wall unit, makes for a pleasant and artful experience of the Argento Vivo kitchen. Designed by Roberto Pezzetta, it’s by GeD Cucine.
