Modiss 2008 Contemporary Lighting collection
The new 2008 contemporary lighting collection from Modiss includes fascinating pieces inspired by the interplay possible between the inside and outside of each light. The captivating Monna table lamp(below), for example, resembles nothing so closely as a delicate jellyfish. A metallic shade is supported on a clear glass base from which an unexpected red cord issues… this unusual, highly contemporary combination ignites one’s imagination. Elegant Balbina lamps (above), on the other hand, are suspended from the ceiling. With a slim chrome or satin gold fixture encased within a curvaceous bordered or smooth glass shade. Available in groups of three, pairs, or as a single light, the Balbina lamps are easy to place throughout the home. Ivanna suspended light follows a similar design concept, but is a sleek modern look in straightforward transparent glass and chrome.
