Designed in UK, the new Smeg fires are available in Retro, Classic and Linear styles, each bringing warmth and beauty, and enhancing practically any room of your home. Designed to adorn your walls, these flue-less gas fires require no recess, chimney or flue, and convert 100% of gas to heat, reducing fuel costs, contributing to a greener and friendly environment by utilising the latest in catalytic technology. All you need is an adequate ventilation in a minimum room size between 23 to 30 cubic metres and a natural gas supply, from which you run a standard 8mm gas pipe to the flueless fire installation point.

Made from enamelled metal, the retro styled Smeg gas fire, L30FAB matches 50s-style household retro appliances, and utilizes the easy to start piezo spark with the 3 settings - ignite, low and high, all discreetly housed on the side, preserving the fire clean retro look. Available in black, red, cream and silver, these retro fires are priced at £950, and look at perfect harmony with Smeg retro dishwasher and FAB32 retro refrigerator. Minimum room size is 30 m³.

Both modern Smeg gas fires, the Classic shown above, and the Linear shown below are flueless fires and, technologically speaking are very similar to the retro fire. Available in portrait and landscape versions, these Smeg flueless fires are priced between £650 and £700. Minimum room size is 23 m³.
