Modern Sconce Lighting from Jonathan Browning - the Garonne Wall Sconce
Tall and bold the Garonne Wall Sconce from Jonathan Browning mixes traditional elements with modern geometry. Supported by a rectilinear bracket the sconce perches at the end; appearing to finely balance as it reaches upwards. The conical body features a textured hammered finish bringing a historical flavour to the traditional form. The pedestal like body then presents a modern cylinder that is crowned by a simple metal shade. The tubular shade reflects light up the wall while illuminating the cylinder below. By mixing textures and shapes, this sconce creates a modern light fixture with the intrigue of historical replicas. The Garonne can accommodate up to 60 watt bulbs and is available in polished nickel, polished bronze, and oil-rubbed bronze from Jonathan Browning.
