Avant Guarde Toilet by AquAvanti - Innovations in Toilet Design
When it comes to selecting a toilet, it wasn’t long ago when one’s options were limited to, “did you want a round or elongated bowl with that?” Today, companies like Aquavanti have turned shopping for a toilet into a gallery-like experience. The Avant Guarde Toilet is just one example of the design innovations that Aquavanti has to offer. It is a custom one piece toilet composed of vitreous china and finished with Aquavanti’s Nanotechnology process, whereby sub-molecular particles are inserted into the glaze to create smoother, glossier, and more stain resistant surfaces than traditional porcelain can provide. It features a dual flush system, yet the traditional “tank” has been replaced by a sculptural column of stacked, flattened orbs, creating a sleek and elegant design statement – all without sacrificing functionality. The bowl itself has not been overlooked – its simple lines extend to the floor, resulting in an unobtrusive cylindrical shape that makes the task of cleaning around the base of the toilet much less daunting. This combination of practical and aesthetic elements makes The Avant Guarde an inspiring conversation piece when incorporated with traditional bathroom fixtures or when featured with other unique Aquavanti designs.
