Fireplace Drop from Antrax - "giving a new form to the heat and flame"
Designed by architect Massimo Iosa Ghini, Antrax Drop fireplace is a representation of the avant-garde movement in Italian design. Almost 5 feet wide, Drop has an ambition to become a focal point of any space. Formed from a varnished steel cut with the laser, Drop doesn't fit an usual definition of a fireplace - it looks like a "mouth receiving a fire". Influenced by an 'open space' architecture style, this fireplace is open on three sides. Sized at 150cm x 113cm x 53 cm, Drop is suspended from the ceiling to create an active gathering point around it. Antrax It Srl
