Gaetano Pesce UP4 Sofa - the great visual impact
Ever noticed how some shapes are so well designed that they never get out of fashion? Take this UP4 Sofa, for example ... Designed in 1969 by Italian designer Gaetano Pesce, the UP4 is still in production and still is very pricy - we've found that prices range from $15000 (r20thcentury) to $4000 (architonic).
Whether because they are so simple or so well thought these great shapes are still very much in trend. The posh UP4 sofa is a UFO-like looking and is one of the 7 designs of the UP series premiered at the 1969 Milan Furniture Show - that's close to 40 years ago...
