4 Examples of How a Large Statement Art Piece Defines the Room

One large piece of statement art can totally define a room, no question. Take any of these four examples below. In each of these cases, you’d want to start with the art – and build your room around it. In the first example, the Bletchley loft in Australia, note the continuation of the horns into the patterns of the cushions. And of course, the Southwestern design rug. It works. The second piece – the neon OK sign – gives us a retro-diner feel, as does the long bar counter on the wall. The neon plays nicely against the cement floor, ceilings and walls in this industrial loft in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. The third example, the black and white piece, is from Warrix house in Nashville, TN. And you can see how the circle dictated every curve in that room. It certainly pulls them all together! And saving the best for last, in Madrid we pay homage to Marilyn and Warhol. Need we say more?
